Start with how you use electricity
A home that needs lights, fans and refrigeration during an outage needs a different system from a shop running freezers all day. A monthly bill is a starting point; appliance power, operating hours, daytime use and the loads that run together determine the final design. We review those details before confirming a quotation.
Hybrid inverter
The inverter must carry the appliances that run at the same time, including starting surges. Battery compatibility, supported solar input and future expansion also matter.
Lithium battery
Usable energy and the required backup hours determine battery capacity. More autonomy usually needs a larger battery and a higher budget; a bigger battery does not automatically increase annual bill savings.

How much does a solar system cost in Ghana?
Cost depends on inverter power, battery energy, panel capacity and installation conditions. Our pricing page uses current shop packages. Use the calculator for a planning estimate, then request a site-specific quotation.
Can solar power a house day and night?
A suitable hybrid system can supply daytime loads and store energy for the evening. Cloudy weather, seasonal output and unusually high demand can still require the grid or another backup source. The design should be checked against your actual loads.
Will an ECG bill alone give an exact solar system size?
No. A bill estimates energy consumption but does not show which appliances run together or their starting power. Adding an appliance list and checking the property produces a more useful final specification.
Does a bigger battery always give faster payback?
No. Battery capacity is mainly a storage and autonomy decision. Payback also depends on installed price, energy actually used from solar, your electricity tariff and the assumptions shown in the calculator. Savings and payback are estimates.
